Diego Pavia’s Honeymoon Period Bites the Dust as Fans Berate Him for Vanderbilt’s Woes Against Auburn

"One thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying." We gotta talk about the Dores. This team single-handedly managed to set the world on fire when Clark Lea and Co. managed to grab a massive 40-35 win over ALABAMA. And who was the hero behind it all? The magic QB Diego Pavia. The dude went for 16-20 pass completions along with 252 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Bama defense had nothing on Diego Pavia as he ruled that turf and gave the Dores their first-ever win against a ranked opponent in 60 long years. But here we are now. Barely 5 out of 16 pass completions and a mere 103 yards with a single touchdown under his belt. Auburn has got the entire Dores offense in a chokehold and their hero is falling apart. Back on X, Jeoy Dwyer was quick to point out, "Diego Pavia has thrown eight-straight incompletions." This is bad, as the tables have turned and the fans are out with their pitchforks and coming for Pavia. The Tigers have barely allowed the Dores to play the football, and this is wild. Right now it is the 3rd quarter of the game and the Dores had only landed a single touchdown that too in the first half of the game. If we even check the rush and pass yards, the numbers are abysmal. Dores got 103 passing yards on the board and ONLY 53 rushing yards. This right here is the same team that managed to push the Longhorns to the edge. Went for 24-27 against a Texan giant with a roster that any camp would sell their soul for. Even during that game, Pavia was on point. With 143 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions under his belt. So what happened? See, back in the Longhorns showdown, Pavia had to leave the game because of an injury . Nate Johnson had taken his place. When we dug around, we found that Pavia had managed to tweak his ankle during one of his run passes and had to be escorted to the medical tent. Now, there is a possibility that the injury has turned into a hurdle for our once-renowned QB. But whatever it is, fans on X ain't gonna let this one go. Honeymoon run over for Diego Pavía "This is the deigo Pavia I know. Stink the b-tch up lmao," was the first thing one fan mentioned on X. Yeah well, the Tigers defensive line has barely allowed the Dores to make any game-changing plays. This is kind of weird because the punters for Dores have managed to push Auburn to the 2-yard line TWICE. Still, nothing came out of those plays. Sharing the same emotion, another fan mentioned, "Diego Pavia is fucking trash.. this who yall been hyping up?" It is fascinating how quickly the fanbase can turn against you. Even when the Dores lost to the Longhorns, the fans were still hyping up Pavia and all of that has taken a 180 turn during this game. Another fan was begging Pavia to make any good plays, "Diego Pavia I'm asking you to pull it one time!!!!!!!!!" Well, they kind of did. Dores would love a touchdown right now, but the 31-yard field goal by Brock Taylor does give Clark Lea and Co. an advantage over the Tigers. Something is better than nothing. Finally a fan pointed out, "Diego Pavia is 5-16 for 103 yards and has rushed for just 17 yards on nine attempts." Yeah, the Auburn defense has stepped up for this game. But will it be enough to win against Vanderbilt? You cannot just win a game because of your D-line. If your O-line does not bring in plays or points, you are done for. The game is entering the 4th quarter and we want to know who you think will come out with a win. And if you thought that the CFB world is getting interesting, you have no idea what's happened on the NFL side. So make sure you check the latest interview by EssentiallySports
