Watch: Miraculous TD catch by Oregon’s Evan Stewart silences Big House, but is called back

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Too bad that one didn't count.

Oregon football's Evan Stewart made a miraculous, one-handed, would-be 34-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter against Michigan on Saturday. Snagging it out of the air with his left hand, Stewart brought the ball close to his body and kept a foot inbounds.

The play was called back, however, due to an ineligible receiver downfield: offensive lineman Marcus Harper.

The Ducks eventually scored on the drive thanks to a 23-yard run by Dillon Gabriel, but what could have been for Stewart still reverberated across social media. Oregon leads Michigan at the half, 28-10.
