Dog finds home in Henderson after devastating storms in Florida

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Several pets flown into Evansville from Florida after hurricanes Milton and Helene have been adopted.

The first one adopted from the Vanderburgh Humane Society was this dog named Maple.

A couple from Henderson says they were looking for a dog when they stumbled across Maple. They say maple makes a great sibling to their other dog.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society has a number of dogs and cats up for adoption.
