onna Marie Bogumil, of Harrisburg, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Saturday
at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of Valentine and Florence
(Polinski) Bogumil. She was a 1979 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, 1983
graduate of Mansfield University and worked in the food catering business. She
was a member of St. Theresa’s Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her sister, Betsy Bevilaqua,
Piscataway, N.J.; brothers, Valentine, Jr., Edmond, Okla.; and Christopher,
Plains Township; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Michael J. Mikelski
Funeral Home, 293 S. River St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s
Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial donations may be made at the funeral home to the charity of the
donor’s choice.
