Doug Emhoff reveals Kamala dropped F-bomb on him for being in spin class when Biden dropped out

Second gentleman Doug Emhoff confessed that he received a profane scolding from Vice President Kamala Harris for not having his phone on him when President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race in July.

Emhoff said Tuesday on the Le Batard & Friends - South Beach Sessions podcast that he had gotten stuck in Los Angeles that weekend so decided to take a spin class with friends.

The second gentleman previously described the spin class at being at SoulCycle in West Hollywood with buddies who are a gay couple.

'And we were just chit-chatting and I had my phone in the Secret Service car so I didn't have my phone,' Emhoff told Dan Le Batard this week. 'And then my friend's partner just showed me his phone with the letter from President Biden and I'm like "gotta go" and just ran into the car and there was my phone, literally, like - you could feel the steam.'

Emhoff said he discovered 'seven or eight messages' on his phone with the same mandate: 'Call Kamala.' 'It was a one-minute or less conversation which started with, "Where the F were you? I need you right now,"' he recalled. 'And basically, "get to work." And I did.'

Le Batard asked Emhoff if he was sporting 'tight biking shorts' or those 'clackety-clack' spinning shoes when he rushed to the car.

'I try not to do the tight biking shorts,' Emhoff said. 'So I just do the long, long old-school Nike basketball shorts, which are probably not great for spin class.'

'But I was drenched in sweat,' the second getleman described. 'I took the clackety-clack shoes off.'

The 60-year-old Emhoff said the car was parked a couple of hundred yards away.

So West Hollywood was treated to an 'old guy, half running, trying to get to that car to get in the mix.'

Biden dropped out of the presidential race on July 21st after Democrats called into question his ability to beat former President Donald Trump after his disastrous debate performance in late June.

Polling showed, for months, that Americans were concerned about the 81-year-old president's advanced age.

Biden almost immediately put his support behind Harris for the Democratic nomination and the party followed.

Less than two weeks after Biden dropped out, DailyMail.com exclusively reported that Emhoff's first marriage ended after he cheated on his wife Kerstin with the couple's nanny, Najen Naylor, and got her pregnant.

Emhoff confirmed DailyMail.com's reporting to CNN.

Kerstin is a vocal supporter of Harris' presidential bid and attended the Democratic National Convention.

Since the news of the affair broke, DailyMail.com reported that Emhoff forcefully slapped an ex-girlfriend for flirting with another man in a dramatic 2012 incident at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

In a follow-up report , former colleagues detailed Emhoff as being 'inappropriate' and 'misogynistic' at work.

The reporting runs counter to the public persona built around the nation's first second gentleman, who was described by former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki as the individual who 'reshaped the perception of masculinity' as he's an 'incredibly supportive spouse.'

'It's funny. I've started to think a lot about this. I've always been like this,' Emhoff replied in an interview with Psaki on MSNBC last month. 'My dad's always been like this. To me, it's the right thing to do, support women.'

'It is mutual with Kamala and I,' he added. 'We support each other, we have each other's back.'
