Drunken Driver Endangers Child: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter The Waukegan woman is also accused of failing to secure a child in restraint, according to police.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

  • Joenathan Mandujano Medina, 22, of the 300 block of Center Street, Grayslake, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and was arrested Oct. 28 in the 41800 block of Delany Road, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.
  • Brittany M. Barnett, 27, of the 300 block of S. Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, failure to secure child in restraint, child endangerment, and was arrested Oct. 31 at Sunset Avenue and New York Street, Waukegan. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.
  • Allan Enrique Sevilla Montino, 30, of the 2600 block of Providence Lane, Lindenhurst, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Oct. 31 at Route 45 and Haven Lane, Old Mill Creek. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 18.
  • Alejandra Ramirez-Merida, 34, of the 400 block of Quassey Avenue, unincorporated Lake Bluff, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, suspended registration, and was arrested Nov. 1 at Route 41 and Stearns School Road, unincorporated Gurnee. She was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 15, 2025.
  • Jose Herrera Lopez, 26, of the 600 block of Pickus Court, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Nov. 1 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 15, 2025.
  • Yves C. Starling, 49, of unincorporated Deerfield, is accused of domestic battery involving strangulation, and was arrested Oct. 28. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report. A court date of Nov. 26 was assigned.

    Dylan N. Vanzeyl, 19, of the 200 block of Mainsail Drive, Third Lake, is accused of theft, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested Oct. 29 in the 19300 block of W. Washington Street, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 20.

    Tommie P. Potchynok, 77, of the 300 block of Summit Avenue, Woodstock, is accused of burglary, criminal damage to property, and was arrested Oct. 30 in the 39400 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 10.

    Woman Endangers Child, Trespasses Land — Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

    Thomas Basile, 57, of the 37200 block of Summerfield Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, had a warrant for driving while license suspended, and was arrested Nov. 1 in the 37200 block of Summerfield Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of this report. A court date of Nov. 12 was assigned.

    AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

    Sebastian W. Jez, 42, of the 4100 block of W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago, is accused of aggravated speeding (101 mph in a 65 mph zone), and was arrested Nov. 3 at I-94 and Route 22, unincorporated Lincolnshire. He was released following his arrest.
