DU experiencing technical issues with main phone number

DECATUR, Ala. ( WHNT ) — Decatur Utilities said it is experiencing issues with its main number and has provided a backup number on Saturday.

Around 6:58 a.m., Decatur Utilities said its main number, 256-552-1400, was experiencing technical issues.

To combat this, DU provided an alternative backup number which can be used to access a menu of options including phone bill payment and reporting service interruptions.

This backup number is only to be used until the regular number is back up and running.
