The Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. It is one of the most anticipated games of the season with compelling storylines on both sides.

However, beyond the captivating narratives, what makes this game even more intriguing are the enticing player prop values it offers. Let’s look at three notable bets for the Eagles vs. Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (+130 at DraftKings) That Hurts is listed at +130 might be a reflection of his lingering knee issue rather than his recent track record.

Despite the injury concern, Hurts has been a consistent scoring threat for the Eagles. He has managed to find the end zone in four of the team’s last five games and in six of nine contests overall this season.

It is reasonable to assume the Eagles would exercise caution and keep Hurts sidelined if he weren’t healthy enough to execute the Tush Push at the goal line. But he is coming off a bye week and has been practicing without a knee brace – both good signs for the Eagles’ signature short-and-inches play as well as for this prop.

And to get it at plus money, given Hurts’ nose for the end zone and his improving knee, makes this prop an enticing option.

Patrick Mahomes Under 285.5 Passing Yards (-115) While Mahomes is widely regarded as the best quarterback in the league and the Chiefs have been prolific in passing this season, this line appears to be misjudged given the matchup with Philadelphia.

The Eagles have shown a tendency to control the time of possession, driven by game plans that emphasize running the ball early and often. And the Chiefs’ vulnerability this season has been stopping the run. Put the two together and Mahomes might be viewing a good portion of the game from the bench.

Mahomes has fallen short of this number in six of nine games this season, and he appears a bit off his game the last few weeks. Considering the matchup specifics and his recent performances, this line appears to be about 10 yards too high.

Drue Tranquill Over 8.5 Tackles + Assists (-110) When Tranquill has filled in for Nick Bolton this season – something he’ll do on Monday night – he has stepped up admirably for the Chiefs at linebacker.

Tranquill’s average snaps per game without Bolton have jumped significantly from 22.25 to 60.6. Across the five games that Tranquill has played without Bolton, he has averaged 5.6 solo tackles and 8.8 tackles + assists.

As mentioned above, the Eagles have established themselves as a run-focused team this season, running the ball at the fifth-highest rate in the NFL. And when they run it, the majority of time it is done between the tackles, which plays to Tranquill’s strengths.

While Tranquill may not have excelled as a run defender overall this season, the combination of his increased time on the field and the anticipated volume of rushes by the Eagles positions this prop as an attractive bet.
