East Limestone student arrested for making threat to school
LIMESTONE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Limestone County Sheriff's Office arrested a ninth Limestone County Schools student for making threats toward a school Thursday.
LCSO said they received a report that an East Limestone High School student stood up and threatened that he had a gun in his backpack. Both the student and the backpack were searched, however, no weapon was found.

According to authorities, the student admitted to making the threat but declined to explain why he did.
At that time, LCSO arrested the student and charged him with making a terrorist threat.
This student becomes the 19th arrested for making a threat since September 9, and they are the ninth student in the Limestone County School System to be charged.
