East Liverpool man enters plea in rape case

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – An East Liverpool man is set to receive his sentence on Dec. 2 after pleading guilty to charges in his rape case.
Joseph Goss, 41, pleaded guilty on Sept. 24 to two amended charges of rape, first-degree felonies; and gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony, as part of a plea agreement.
Sentencing in the case is set for 2 p.m. Dec. 2, according to court records.
Goss was charged following a secret indictment in July. The indictment states that Goss raped a child, who is now 13, from January 2022 to March 2024.
