East Peoria declares boil advisory during emergency sewer repairs
EAST PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — The City of East Peoria has closed a street and declared a boil advisory for some parts of the city while it makes emergency water main repairs on Friday.
According to posts on the East Peoria – City Government Facebook page , West Bluff Street off Meadow Avenue is closed due to emergency water main repair.

The repairs will limit sewer service in the area, and residents should prepare to have limited sewer services all Friday and possibly into Saturday.
Residents should limit water use, including the use of toilets, baths and laundry.
A boil advisory has also been declared for the following areas:
West Bluff Street
Swiss Lane
Greenlawn Court
Longview Court
Crestview Road
Bennett Road
Welton Court
Generally, boiling for at least five minutes for water used in cooking for at least 24-hours after water is fully restored.
