Eight most expensive homes sold in Shippensburg, Sept. 16-29

A house that sold for $380,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Shippensburg between Sep. 16 and Sep. 29.

In total, 12 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past two weeks, with an average price of $260,408. The average price per square foot ended up at $171.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded from the week of September 16 to the week of Sep. 29 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

The 894 square-foot detached house at 385 Strohm Road in Southampton Township has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in September and the total purchase price was $183,000, $205 per square foot. The house was built in 1968. The deal was finalized on Sep. 16.
