With the 2024 regular season over halfway done, we took the opportunity to see how you grade Eliot Wolf's first offseason as head of the New England Patriots 'personnel department based on what we've seen so far.

He did not receive high marks.

Wolf's worst grade was for the free agent class he brought to New England. 42 percent of fans gave him a "D", and another 32 percent gave him a failing grade. Offensive linemen Chukwuma Okorafor and Nick Leverett are no longer with the team, as is defensive lineman Armon Watts. Wide receiver K.J. Osborn was a healthy scratch last week.

However, quarterback Jacoby Brissett provided a bridge to Drake Maye and was strong in relief in Week 8, and Antonio Gibson has done well to complement Rhamondre Stevenson in the backfield. Re-signing Michael Onwenu has also been the team's best offensive lineman. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins has been solid as a rotational player.

Wolf received a better grade for his draft class, with 46 percent of respondents giving him a "C" grade. 28 percent thought he deserved a "D", while 21 percent gave him a "B".

His draft class is headlined by quarterback and No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye. In four starts, the rookie has 770 yards and six touchdowns through the air, plus over 200 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well.

Unfortunately, the rest of the class has not lived up to expectations. Wide receivers Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker have amassed just 78 receiving yards, all from Polk. Guard Layden Robinson was benched last week, and tackle Caedan Wallace has spent most of the season injured. Defensive back Marcellas Dial and tight end Jaheim Bell have been solid on special teams, and quarterback Joe Milton has yet to play.

Only 28 percent of Patriots fans expressed confidence in the direction of the team this week, matching the mark from after the team's loss to San Francisco earlier this season. That ties for the second lowest confidence this season, only ahead of the 16 percent level after losing the Jacksonville in London.

This week marked a 20-point drop from last week's 48 percent confidence level.
