Elon Musk has cold response to his daughter’s reaction to Trump win

Elon Musk's transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, like so many in her community was not thrilled to see Donald Trump come out on top in Tuesday's election.

There is apprehension — warranted considering the rhetoric — in the LGBTQ+ community about what a second Trump term might look like. And so, Vivian made a big announcement on social media.

"I've thought this for a while, but (Tuesday) confirmed it for me," she wrote. "I don't see my future being in the United States. Even if he's only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don't happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon."

Musk has money. Musk has pull, especially in this administration. Musk also has a very cold heart when it comes to this. And we know that because he responded to a New York Post story about his daughter's decision that was shared to X and wrote, "The woke mind virus killed my son."

He had a similar take on the subject in an interview over the summer when asked about her transition.

"I lost my son essentially," he said. "They call it deadnaming for a reason. The reason it's called deadnaming is because your son is dead. My son is dead, killed by the Woke Mind Virus.

"So, I vowed to destroy the Woke Mind Virus after that," he added.

The replies to his latest response on X seemed split.

Some applauded Musk and took issue with whatever the "Woke Mind Virus" is supposed to be.

"This hurts even my heart," one person wrote. "Losing a child is excruciating. Losing a child to woke, unimaginable."

Others took Musk to task for his chilliness toward his daughter.

"She's your daughter," one person responded. But I mean, if I were you literally neglecting all of my children, I would expect to see them cut me out of my life too when they became adults."

"No you were just a (expletive) parent," another wrote.
