just finished a stretch where they played four games in the span of eight days. Even so, Eric Musselman says it won’t be long before the ‘Hogs get right back to work.

Musselman laid out what the next few days will look like for the Razorbacks during his postgame press conference after their 80-75 win over No. 7 in the ACC/SEC Challenge . With much improvement for them to still make, he said plenty of film will be coming for the players on Thursday.

“A lot of film, a lot of areas to get better. We’ll probably send our guys stuff tomorrow,” said Musselman.

However, in general, today should be an off day for Arkansas. That’s especially so after playing a tough matchup with the Blue Devils last night. They’ll just get the day, though, as Musselman said they’ll be back it it starting tomorrow.

“We had some guys play some heavy minutes in a physical game. So we’ll probably get back at it on Friday I guess,” said Musselman.

The Razorbacks played three games, including one that went to double overtime, in three days during their time at the Battle 4 Atlantis. They went 1-2 in those contests which dropped their record to 4-3. That was before last night when they earned a much needed victory over Duke.

Now, at 5-3, Arkansas will prepare for a week where they’ll start with before playing next weekend in Tulsa. They’ll then have three more games this month before opening conference play after the turn of the new year.

Musselman says Duke game was a must-win for Arkansas

Arkansas secured a Top-10 win over the Blue Devils because they approached the game with the must-win mindset that Eric Musselman and the program deemed was necessary.

Musselman spoke about the pressure on the Razorbacks last night during his postgame press conference after their 80-75 win over Duke. With how they’ve opened the season, he said they made their position very clear to one another and, as such, treated last night’s contest in the ACC/SEC Challenge as one that was necessary for their season-long hopes.

“Look, we don’t have the record that we were hopeful to have. You lose tonight’s game? Now, all of a sudden, you’re .500. Then you’re wondering that you’ve got to get some signature wins,” explained Musselman. “There was a lot of pressure on tonight’s game – a lot. I thought our guys responded.”

“We let them know where we were. I mean we didn’t act like, ‘Hey, it’s early in the season’, ‘We got time’. It was discussed as a must-win for us,” said Musselman.

After the victory , Musselman couldn’t have been happier to see his team’s work pay off in a way that they very much needed.

“Tonight, the locker room? One of the coolest things ever is to see student-athletes celebrate,” said Musselman. “I mean they put so much work into it.”

“For them to have internal pressure, external pressure, crowd pressure? And then to be able to get a win? It was huge,” said Musselman. “It meant something nationally as well.”
