Erie Philharmonic's board of directors has named a new interim executive director.

Tom Brooks has stepped up to the podium to lead the orchestra's operations.

Brooks currently serves as the chorus master and worked professionally across the U.S. as well as in Salzburg, Austria.

He told us that the orchestra is moving forward, and he has plans to continue that momentum.

"I think there's no limit to what we can do here in Erie. Regardless of whether we think of ourselves being a smaller city or not, I think that we're capable of doing many, many things artistically that would expect larger to be able to do but we're capable of doing them," said Brooks.

The orchestra will be playing "Frozen in Concert" this weekend.
