ESPN makes major broadcast decision for College Gameday with sporting power couple handed celebrity guest pick honor
ESPN have announced the celebrity guest pickers for Week 11 of College GameDay.
The popular pregame show will be in Baton Rouge, Louisiana this Saturday morning.
Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Co will be broadcasting from Louisiana State University campus ahead of another big showdown.
The No. 14 rated LSU Tigers will take on the No. 11 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.
And the guest pickers for College GameDay will be a sporting power couple.
Former LSU baseball pitcher Paul Skenes will join the show for the segment.
And he will be accompanied by his girlfriend - social media star and gymnast Livvy Dunne.
"What's better than one national champion? How about two national champions?" ESPN announced on Instagram.
"We're so excited to have Paul Skenes and Livvy Dunne as our guest pickers this weekend at LSU."
Dunne responded, "So excited."
College GameDay achieved a first this year as the ESPN program goes from strength to strength.
The team broadcast internationally for the first time when they headed to Dublin, Ireland in August.
Lee Corso missed that show and a number of others due to a health scare.
But the veteran broadcaster is back on set alongside McAfee and Saban.
College GameDay star Kirk Herbstreit this week also announced the sad death of his dog Ben .
"This is really hard to write but so many of you have loved and cared about Ben that I wanted to let you know," Herbstreit wrote on Instagram.
"We found out today the cancer had spread throughout Ben's organs and there was nothing left we could do-we had to let him go.
"I've had dogs my whole life but Ben was 1 on 1.
"He was smart-loving-gentle-patient-inquisitive-and welcoming to all.
"Always a big smile and a soft tail wag."
Herbstreit continued, "God please bless his majestic soul and thank you for putting him in my life for the last 10 years-a true blessing.
"Love you Ben."
