Good news, glam metal fans: Poison is getting back together. In two years.

During an interview with Eddie Trunk on his Trunk Nation radio show on Sirius XM, drummer and Mechanicsburg native Rikki Rockett said that the band was planning to reunite in 2026.

Trunk initiated the discussion by saying that he received a text from lead singer Bret Michaels that said "Hey, I hear you're gonna have Rikki Rockett on. Send him my love and tell him Poison 2026."

"Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. '26 is for sure gonna happen," Rockett said. "I mean, unless some unforeseen thing happens, but all band members have stuck their hand in and said, 'Yeah, we're definitely doing it without a doubt.'"

The band last toured in 2022 with Def Leppard and Motley Crue. Its last album was "Poison'd!" in 2007.

Michaels had shared earlier this year that after his current solo tour, he planned to take a break for health reasons.

But he also said in a recent PennLive interview that he planned to have Poison tour in 2026 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album, "Look What the Cat Dragged In."

Michaels also made a Facebook post in September where he said "although none of this is confirmed" at this point, "it would make perfect sense to have the possibility of a reunion in 2026. In my opinion, it would be the perfect 40th Anniversary Tour."
