Story Hour will take place at the Laflin Library on Saturday, October 25, November 1 and 8 for children ages 3 and up at 11:00 a.m. until noon. To register your child, call the Library at 654-3323, Tuesday through Friday 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
A pumpkin art contest is being held at the Laflin Library. Decorate any size pumpkin, whole or carved. Decorated pumpkins should be brought to the library on Saturday, October 25 by 1:00 p.m., the latest Tuesday, October 28 by 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded on Thursday, October 30 at 6:00 p.m. A photo will be taken at that time and children may wear their Halloween costume.
Laflin Library is working with Barnes & Noble Booksellers by hosting a book fair at the 421 Arena Hub Plaza, Wilkes-Barre Township store. For more information, stop in or call the Library at 654-3323.
