Everyone's saying the same thing after Donald Trump's bizarre microphone moment

Social media users have reacted after a bizarre clip of Donald Trump emerged when his microphone cut out during a rally.

The republican presidential nominee had audio issues while speaking at a campaign event in Milwaukee on Friday night.

Opting to instead use a handheld microphone, Trump was seen yanking at the microphone at his stand before he started putting his mouth around it.

Social media X has since erupted with a spate of comments over the widely shared footage.

One person commented on the short clip, which has been viewed over 14million times: 'Doesn't look like his first time either.'

Another commented: 'There is something seriously wrong with this person. He's willing to do or say ANYTHING to get some applause from his sycophantic cult.'

The View's Ann Navarro chimed in on the clip, saying: 'Ask yourself: what would happen if Kamala Harris did this?

'Yes. You saw right. This is Trump on stage at a rally, pretending to perform a sex-act on a microphone.

'This is not normal. Trump is disgusting, unhinged and unfit to represent the United States. Vote him out.'

The audience that had gathered at the event had started cheering at the former president that they could not hear him minutes into his speech.

He went on to speak about his equipment, saying: ''The mic is terrible ... I think this mic stinks.'

Ten minutes later he riffed on the equipment again: 'I've never held a microphone up so long in my damn life.'

Later when the audio cut out again he jokingly threatened to beat up the equipment staff.

'Do you want to see me knock the hell out of people backstage? I get so mad, I'm up here seething. I'm working my ass off with this stupid mic.'

It was his last rally to take place in Wisconsin where just across town Kamala Harris was holding a rally with rappers Cardi B and GloRilla.

Similarily, Cardi B also suffered a technical mishap when the teleprompter she was reading from cut out on her.

The Grammy-winner was stopped in her tracks when the teleprompter suddenly had technical glitch.

For around a minute she stood on stage wondering how to respond as the audience cheered.

The rapper was forced to read her endorsement of Harris from her phone, saying that she wasn't 'going to vote' until the VP entered the race.

Milwaukee is home to the most Democratic votes in Wisconsin, but its conservative suburbs are where most Republicans live and are a critical area for Trump as he tries to reclaim the state he narrowly won in 2016 and lost in 2020 .

One reason for his defeat was a drop in support in those Milwaukee suburbs and an increase in Democratic votes in the city.

'I wasn't gonna vote this year,' Cardi Bsaid, before adding that Ms Harris taking over as the Democratic nominee changed her mind.

'She's passionate, compassionate... and most of all she is not delusional,' she said.

She referred to Donald Trump as a 'bully', adding 'he said he's gonna protect women whether they like it or not.

'If his definition of protection is not the freedom of choice... then I don't want it. I'm not giving Donald Trump a second chance.'

Four of the past six presidential elections in Wisconsin have been decided by less than a point, or fewer than 23,000 votes.

It was absentee votes from Milwaukee, which typically are reported early in the morning after Election Day, that tipped Wisconsin for President Joe Biden in 2020 .

Harris urged everyone in Wisconsin to get out and vote, and gave a shoutout to young Gen-Z voters who were voting for the first time.

'I love Gen-Z,' she said with a laugh. 'Here's what I love about you guys. You are rightly impatient for change. I love that about you!'
