Family Fare is bringing something special to schools

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Reading is a really important part of elementary education, that's why Family Fare's "One School at a Time" initiative was eager to grant the wish of a local elementary school principal who's hoping to do something very special for his students. The principal at Explorer Elementary in Kentwood submitted the application with a goal of purchasing a book vending machine that dispenses free books instead of snacks or sodas. We got the chance to stop Explorer Elementary to learn more and see how Family Fare is making a difference "One School at a Time"!

The goal is to have the book vending machine in place by March 2025 — just in time for Reading Month.
