SAN ANTONIO - An overturned car sitting in the main lanes of Highway I-90, near Historic Old Highway 90, took Ronelle Robinson away from his family last Sunday at around 3:30 a.m. Now they sit together without him.

"I'm tryna stay strong and be strong for everybody else but it's hard," said Diamond Eskridge, sister of Ronelle Robinson.

Diamond Eskridge is his sister. She says even Robinson was not feeling his best before he passed.

"Just trying to go clear their mind, been dealing with a lot of things and he was just going for a drive, as he would normally do," said Diamond Eskridge.

Officials with the San Antonio Police Department say he died of blunt head trauma. As for the overturned car sitting on the freeway, officials say it's unclear if its driver was on the scene or was transported.

"It hurts, it sucks, you know the good person that he was, just how he went, you know, alone," said Diamond Eskridge.

But Eskridge says he was anything but alone when working as a manager at Little Caesars for three years.

"He has several customers and employees and people he would work with that are, you know, planning on attending the funeral," said Diamond Eskridge.

She says his employer took care of the funeral home costs but now they are trying to .

We reached out to the San Antonio Police Department to see if they knew why the overturned car was sitting on the highway, but they did not get back to us.
