TIOGA COUNTY, Pa. ( WETM ) — FEMA announced on Tuesday that it's packing up operations in northern Pennsylvania after Tropical Storm Debby brought heavy rains to the region. Tuesday was the last day for residents to apply for FEMA assistance, but there are a few exceptions for a late application.

FEMA released some exceptions on Tuesday for late applicants, however, FEMA is only accepting those applications past the Nov. 12 deadline if extraordinary circumstances prevented you from applying. This applies to residents in Tioga, Potter, Lycoming, and Union counties.
