Fight Over Game Of Soccer Leads To Assault & Battery Charges: Sheriff

Stafford County Sheriff's deputies responded around 6 p.m. on Saturday to a basketball court on Anvil Road for the report of juveniles fighting over the game of soccer , reports say.

As the deputies were investigating the circumstances that led up to the fight, another fight broke out between three adults at the basketball court, according to the sheriff's office. The deputies were quickly able to stop that fight.

Once the deputies finished their investigation into the two brawls, they arrested three men: Muslim Quraishee, Spoogmae Quraishee, and Hewad Baharzai, who were all 18 and lived in Stafford. They were charged with assault and battery, as well as disorderly conduct, according to the sheriff's office. The magistrate released them on their own recognizance.

The deputies also issued criminal complaints for assault and battery to four juveniles, as well as disorderly conduct, according to the sheriff's office. A fifth juvenile was issued a criminal complaint for disorderly conduct.
