Fire department activity closes shoulder on I-81 in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– Fire department activity closed a shoulder of I-81 in Chambersburg on Wednesday morning.

According to PennDOT, Shortly after 5:00 a.m., fire crews responded to I-81 southbound at Exit 10 to Marion. A shoulder is closed, causing traffic delays on the roadway.

The nature of the incident is unknown at this time. No injuries have been reported.
