Firefighter injured in blaze on Buffalo’s East Side

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A firefighter suffered minor injuries during a fire on Buffalo's East Side early Monday morning.

Crews were fighting the fire at a home on Deshler Street around 6 a.m. Monday. The firefighter was transported to the hospital to be treated.

The battalion chief said the home suffered significant damage, but estimations have not been made yet.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
