LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Good morning, Texoma! Temperatures will warm to the 70s today, and skies will cloud over gradually through midday. It's possible some locations see showers this morning into the afternoon, but the heaviest activity doesn't move in until this afternoon and evening. Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Tonight, the threat for severe weather begins to increase, especially after 9 PM when multiple rounds of heavy thunderstorms look to move through Texoma. We can't rule out the possibility of tornadoes, so have multiple ways to receive warnings overnight into Monday. Additionally, several inches of rain are likely across the area, with morning model guidance honing on the northwestern portions of our viewing area, from Altus toward Elk City, for the heaviest rain. We'll go over the latest guidance at 5:30 tonight, and provide updated numbers.

Tomorrow, skies clear quickly once the rain moves out around midday, with highs in the mid-60s.

Have a wonderful Sunday, Texoma!
