Flash flood warning in Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie Co.

WJBF – There is a flash flood warning in Richmond, Columbia, and McDuffie counties until 8 P.M. due to the torrential rain happening with the slow moving thunderstorms.

According to the Columbia County EM, the Southern Pines at Fury's Ferry Road is closed due to flash flooding.

Emergency crews also report that flash flooding is also happening at William Few at the intersection of Washington Road in Evans.

Authorities are also reporting that there are thousands of people are without power at this time in Columbia County.

As of 8:30 P.M., the traffic light at Wrightsboro Road and Augusta West Parkway is out.

According to the Harlem Happening's Facebook page, the Dollar general market in Harlem closed due to flooding.

According to emergency responders, there are public reports that there is a street flooding along Scott Nixon Memorial Drive in Augusta.

According to McDuffie County dispatch, all roads are now open and clear as of 9:04 P.M.
