Landsea Homes Corp. will base its new Dallas-Fort Worth division headquarters in Irving.
The Dallas-based homebuilder announced on Nov. 18 that it signed a 14,725-square-foot office lease in Irving's Tower 1320.
The new space marks Landsea's growing presence in North Texas' residential real estate scene since the homebuilder's corporate HQ moved from California to Uptown Dallas last year . The new office is expected to accommodate up to 60 employees.
"Our division is continuing to grow, and this move demonstrates our strong commitment to this important market for Landsea Homes," said Melissa Kelly, Dallas-Fort Worth division president. "It is centrally located in an amenity-rich environment with ease of access from all parts of the city by the multitude of highways and DART..."
The space is currently being built-out, with full move-in expected in spring 2025. The office is expected to house a 3,000-square-foot design studio for homebuyers, a feature seen in other Landsea Division offices across the country.
Tower 1320 at 1320 Greenway Drive on the Las Colinas side of Irving underwent renovations in 2019 to offer a more elevated experience to tenants, as well as attract new leases like the one with Landsea (Nasdaq: LSEA).
Amenities at Tower 1320 include a fitness room with lockers, a café with Starbucks offerings, a game room with pool tables and shuffleboards, and a conference space made to fit 75 people.
Kelly called the space a pathway to attracting and retaining Landsea employees from Dallas and Fort Worth, in addition to being close to its active and upcoming new home communities.
Tower 1320 is near DFW Airport and in walking distance to Jerry Jones' Blue Star Land and Lincoln Properties' 28-acre development which includes 50,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space.
Landsea is one of the nation's largest homebuilders, ranking No. 35 on the 2023 Builder 100 with 2,527 closings and $1.4 billion in revenue in 2022. In addition to Texas, the builder has developed homes and communities in New York, Boston, New Jersey, Arizona, Florida, Colorado and California.
