Isaiah Hodgins will get a chance to shine on Sunday.

The New York Giants elevated the wide receiver from their practice squad to their active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers in Germany, the team announced Sunday morning.

Hodgins' elevation comes as a result of wide receiver Darius Slayton being ruled out for the game while in the NFL's concussion protocol. The Giants are expected to start Malik Nabers and Jalin Hyatt, with Wan'Dale Robinson as the third wide receiver. However, Hodgins should get some opportunities to contribute.

The former Oregon State Beavers' star has appeared in two games this season. Hodgins was on the field for 25 snaps during the Giants' 29-20 Week 5 win over the Seattle Seahawks. He played 15 snaps and caught a pass for five yards during the Giants' 17-7 Week 6 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
