Fourth arrest made in 2023 shooting death

LEMON GROVE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A fourth arrest was made last week in the 2023 death of a 39-year-old man in Lemon Grove, authorities said.

Daniel Ethridge, 44, was arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota on suspicion of killing Gregory Moore and theft charges, Lt. Michael Krugh with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said in a news release Tuesday. Local authorities are working with St. Paul's DA office to bring Ethridge back to San Diego.

The shooting occurred on March 18, 2023 around 10 p.m. in the 2800 block of Lemon Grove Avenue.

When authorities arrived on scene, they found Moore unconscious in a vehicle at the intersection of Lemon Grove Ave. and San Miguel Ave.

"As deputies were taking Moore out of the vehicle, they noticed he had gunshot wounds to his left upper leg and lower torso. Deputies applied a tourniquet to Moore's leg as paramedics arrived," Krugh said.

Moore was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries.

Three suspects were previously arrested in connection with the shooting of Moore.
