A freak work accident left a tradie stranded on a roof with an angle grinder sticking out of his leg. Emergency services were called to a property on a leafy residential street in Botany in southern Sydney at 11.30am on Thursday. They discovered a man had suffered a deep laceration to his leg from an angle grinder, with the power tool lodged inside him. Police officers helped NSW Ambulance crew bring the man down from the roof where he had been working. 'It looked like he suffered significant blood loss from a deep cut on his leg,' one witness said. 'The angle grinder was still sticking out of his leg when they brought him down.' Daily Mail Australia has approached NSW Police and NSW Ambulance for comment.
