Free leaf bags and curbside pickup available for Youngstown residents
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – If you live in Youngstown, the city will give you leaf bags and pick them up for free.
You can pick up leaf bags at Green Youngstown's office, located in the Youngstown Municipal Courthouse at 9 W. Front St., Suite 212.
You will need an ID to get the free bags.
The city asks that you fill the bags with leaves only, not sticks or branches.
It's OK to put them outside in the rain since the bags are made to withstand that.
The bags will be collected curbside Monday through Friday, now through December 6. When you're ready to have yours picked up, call 330-744-7526.
Put them at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the day they are to be picked up.
Another note — the city said residential garbage collection will not be affected by the Veterans Day holiday.
