Fresh glass-bottled milk now available at Topeka food pantry
TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – A Topeka food pantry has entered into a new partnership with a local dairy producer to provide families with access to fresh milk.
SENT Inc. announced on social media on Nov. 4 that it is partnering up with Hildebrand Farms Dairy to supply the Southside Filling Station food pantry with free milk delivered in glass bottles. The partnership is kicking off with 100 half-gallon bottles to help support people living in and around the Hi-Crest community.
Families who return these bottles will help ensure there is a continuous supply available at no cost. The food pantry first opened its doors on Aug. 27 to provide local families with access to fresh produce, meat, eggs, hygiene products and more. It is open during the following time frames:
Tuesdays: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Wednesdays: Noon to 2 p.m.
Thursdays: 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
