Gainesville man indicted in Douglas County for alleged child sexual abuse

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Mo. — A grand jury has indicted a Gainesville man for sexually abusing a girl less than 14 years old.

Online records show Henry Parker has been charged with first-degree child molestation, sexual abuse and second-degree sexual misconduct.

SGF man accused of holding six-year-old's head underwater

The indictment filed shows that Parker abused the girl between October 2010 and December 2011. In one instance, documents say Parker grabbed the girl by the hair and forced her to perform sexual acts.

Parker is currently out of jail after paying a $50,000 bond.
