Muncy, Pa. — Gloria D. Baggott, 71, of Muncy passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 at her home.

Born Feb. 7, 1953 in Sayre, she was a daughter of the late Darwin Higley and Phyllis (Caseman) Higley, who survives.

Gloria was a graduate of Sullivan County High School and worked at various retail locations.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Muncy.

Gloria was a life member of the Edward J. Smith Post 3428 V.F.W., and auxiliary member of the Roland Ritter American Legion Post 268, both of Muncy.

She enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and travelling. Most importantly, Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are eight children, Sonya (John) Hipple, Crystal Nichols, Bradley (Kathleen) Nichols, Brenda (Jon) Harder, Angela Bentzel, Joann (Steve) Hoffheins, Jeanne (Troy) Figdore and Pamela Baggott; four siblings, Glenn Higley, David Higley, Dora (Warren) Brown, and Clay Higley; six grandchildren, Greg (Tara), Brett, Alexis (Josh), Willow, Aiden, and Jayden; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one brother, Chris Higley.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rebecca Cuddeback officiating.

Private burial will be held in Shunk.

Contributions in Gloria's memory may be made to either the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
