Golden Fest is back this weekend
Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida is getting ready to host its GoldenFest XIV on Nov. 16.
Get ready to sit, stay and play with the Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida. Their biggest fundraiser, GoldenFest, is back and bigger than ever and now it's moved to a new location.Dennis Guyitt, Cliff Smith and Eileen Snider from the Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida joined ABC7 to discuss GoldenFest and how we can all get involved.GoldenFest XIV will be held at the Lee Health Sports Complex — Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers. The date and times for 2024 will remain the same: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17.This is the rescue's biggest event of the year, and it will include goldens galore, live music, food and drink, pictures with Santa, a caricature artist, raffles, a silent auction, first responder exhibits and the Calendar Girls dance troupe.
