Gorman’s Ifeadi scores in Hardin-Simmons win

ABILENE, Texas (KLTV) - Former Bishop Gorman Crusader Dozie Ifeadi hauled in his sixth touchdown on Saturday in Hardin-Simmons' 44-17 win over Howard Payne.

Ifeadi's touchdown came in the fourth quarter.

Ifeadi capped off a 5-play, 59-yard drive with a 26-yard touchdown reception to put the Cowboys up 37-17 with 2:03 remaining in the game.

Ifeadi finished the day with three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.

For Howard Payne, Kale Shaw (Canton) led the team in tackles with 14. Reed Johnson (Van) had six tackles, while Jaden Elie (Edgewood) added five tackles. Javier Neal (Whitehouse) had two tackles, while Angel Hernandez (Winnsboro) and Lance Robertson (Malakoff) had a tackle each.

Hardin Simmons remains undefeated on the year and will host Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday at 1 p.m.
