Governors Evers and Whitmore pull “Blue Wall Bus” into La Crosse and Eau Claire
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Governor Tony Evers was joined by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer on the Driving Forward Blue Wall Bus Tour. The blitz campaign for the Harris-Walz campaign, and other Democrats on the ballot, made stops in La Crosse and UW Eau Claire.
Both governors say the Harris-Walz ticket will help Wisconsinites by making the cost of living more affordable and bolstering the nation's economy. Governor Whitmore explains, "Keeping money in people's pockets, giving people support. Whether you're buying a new house or you're getting gouged by companies that are unscrupulous, these are the things that help us get ahead as individuals. Harris and Walz get it. Trump doesn't get it. He's never lived a life like ours, and he's got a record of failure. And that's why this is such an important moment."
The tour will finish on Wednesday with a visit to Mequon.
