Gregory Alan Williams Directing Pair Of PicsEXCLUSIVE: Baywatch: The American Dream and The Righteous Gemstones actor Gregory Alan Williams is to direct a pair of SAG feature films, one a family adventure and the other a thriller. Production has begun on Paw Paw and Dayja, which follows the tender story between a grandfather, played by Williams, and his Bigfoot-loving granddaughter (Aria Isabella May) set to the backdrop of Georgia's wilderness. Also cast are Trazi Lashawn, Raven Danielle Baker, Kenisha Johnson, and Jay Peterson. Crazie has concurrently gone into production, billed as a high-stakes dark psychological thriller set in Atlanta. It follows a family's turmoil as a teenage son falls prey to a dangerous obsession with an older woman. Cast includes Brenda Washington, Juvan Elisma, Wendell Lee Mitchell, Diesel Madkins, Nikia Gettridge and Alpha Trivette. Williams is writing, directing and executive-producing both films, alongside producers Richard Tavernaro, Dawson Williams, Sophia Beecham, and Karen M. Jones. They are co-productions between Williams' Last Dance Creatives and Long Shot Productions. Williams, who recently wrapped filming on HBO's The Righteous Gemstones Season 4, counts Reunion, Birdie and My Perfect Wedding among his previous directorial efforts. Acting creds include The Sopranos, The West Wing, Remember the Titans and Chicago Med. Jordan Gray & Nick Frost Lead ITV Sitcom 'Into Production 'Transaction' Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, How To Train Your Dragon, Get Away) will star alongside comedian Jordan Gray in a six-part workplace sitcom. Gray is the creator of Transaction, which has gone into production some two years after it was first commissioned. Doon Mackichan (Two Doors Down, Good Omens), Thomas Gray (Peacock, A Good Girl's Guide To Murder), and Francesca Mills (The Witcher, Boat Story). The series stars Gray as Live, a transgender egomaniac causing havoc in the strange world of the supermarket nightshift. Having been hired by Pellocks boss Simon (Frost) after he inadvertently offends the LGBTQ+ community with an ill-advised marketing campaign, Liv realises she is unsociable and sets about turning the store into her own personal playground. Big Talk is producing for streamer ITVX and ITV Studios will distribute. Executive producers are Kenton Allen, Lucy Robinson, Jordan Gray, and Nick Frost, and the producer is Lara Singer (Peacock), and Ollie Parsons (Breeders) is directing. Jordan Gray developed the series with Ben Worsfield.
