Guilford County deputies asking for help identifying human remains found in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Human remains were found in a wooded area Thursday morning, the Guilford County Sheriff's Office reports.

Around 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to a call regarding human remains in a wooded area near Alamance Road.

Officers located the remains and confirmed they were primarily skeletal bones.

On Friday afternoon, the GCSO held a news conference and asked for help identifying the remains.

The person was wearing size 9 1/2 Nike Air Force 1s, a black shell jacket with a Webco logo and the number 50 on the design and black Levi pants.
