Social media star Haliey Welch, also known as "Hawk Tuah Girl", has rubbished a rumor that she and her partner Pookie are no longer together.

Welch, 21, became an online sensation after making a risqué comment during a random street interview with YouTubers Tim & Dee TV. When asked how to please a partner, Welch replied, "hawk tuah", mimicking an intimate act.

The social media sensation uploaded a photo of herself on X (formerly Twitter ) on Thursday, proudly clutching a bouquet of roses sent by her mysterious other half.

However, one of her followers questioned who they were from, prompting Welch to clarify her relationship status.

Alongside her picture, Welch wrote: "Gn tuah [goodnight to] all my loves on X".

Welch then received a jokey response from a user called Greg, who uses the handle and has one million followers on the site.

It read: "Gn Ms. Tuah glad to see you received the roses I sent you X".

"Aw thank u Mr. Greg [rose emoji]," responded Welch.

When a fan questioned who they were really from, Welch replied: "Pookie gave them to me not Mr Greg [laughing emoji]."

Another user then chipped in with: "Didn't Pookie get dumped?"

Welch was quick to deny they'd gone their separate ways, emphatically responding: "No!"

She first referenced Pookie in her famous video, shouting into the camera "I love you, Pookie—forever!".

YouTube stars Logan and Jake Paul tried to get her to confirm his identity during an interview.

"He's got black hair and he's got the longest eyelashes you'd ever seen," was all she was willing to reveal to them.

This comes after Welch was forced to silence the notion that she doesn't operate her own social media accounts any more.

After finding viral fame, she's managed to successfully slip into podcasting and merchandising, causing speculation that she's handed over the reins on the likes of Facebook , X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and TikTok .

One commenter recently wrote to her: "We can tell it's not you tweeting anymore. Got snagged up in the business... Shame."

In light of this, Welch made sure to instantly hit back with a video message. "It's me b****, it's Hawktoshi. Let's go Mets," she said to the camera.

Newsweek has emailed a representative of Welch's for comment.

The same X user returned to the platform soon after, claiming they'd only been winding her up.

"I was just playing with her. Plus she showed her fans she really does run the account. So win win. Genuine is always better," they said.

Meanwhile, Welch's followers also jumped on the fact she's a fan of the New York Mets, who were just defeated by the Los Angeles Dodgers out on the baseball field.

"I love that you're a Mets fan!" read one of the many celebrations, while a second individual added: "It's awesome! Keep riding the wave you're on and use your popularity for something positive!"
