BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Two more former Indiana University basketball players are saying they were sexually abused by an athletic doctor during annual physicals.

The latest accusers are Haris Mujezinovic and Charlie Miller, who both played for the team in the 90s. They are among at least four former players who say Dr. Brad Bomba, Sr. gave them inappropriate prostate and rectal exams.

"I'm standing up for all student-athletes who have suffered abuse. I hope that more of our former teammates will speak out and share their stories publicly," Mujezinovic said in a press release through lawyers.

"I will never understand why IU leadership did nothing to protect us from what I now understand was sexual abuse," Miller added as well in the release.

The players claim the abuse and IU's negligence to do anything about it is a violation of Title XI. They also say the exams were openly discussed in the men's basketball locker room between players, around assistant coaches, and other team staff.

Bomba was the IU men's basketball team physician for almost 30 years and was inducted into the IU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2007. He also served as the team doctor for various other sports and was even th Olympic team doctor for Team USA coached by Bob Knight in 1984.

IU has hired a law firm to do an independent review of the possible abuse of student-athletes at the school.
