State police investigating armed robbery at York County Turkey Hill

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after an armed individual stole hundreds of dollars from a Turkey Hill in Red Lion.

Troopers were made aware of the robbery around 10:28 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a news release. It happened at the Turkey Hill on 346 W. Broadway in Red Lion.

Investigators found that an armed male suspect approached both cashiers and demanded cash. He was given $214 before he fled north toward 1st Avenue.

Police described the suspect as a "light skinned black or Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build, and in his late teens or early 20's".

He was wearing black pants, a gray sweatshirt, and a medical mask.

Troopers are now asking people who live in the area of the Turkey Hill to check their surveillance cameras for the suspect. Anyone with information should call Pennsylvania State Police in York at (717) 428-1011.
