elen Przywara, 82, of Old Forge, died Sunday in the Skilled Nursing
facility of the Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Born Oct. 12, 1919, in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late
Alexander and Julia (Badock) Stancavage. She was educated in Old Forge
schools. She was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Pryzwara; brothers,
Alexander Jr., Chester and Stanley Stancavage and Walter Stann; and sisters,
Stella and Theresa Stancavage and Florence Soprano.

Surviving are her sons, Michael W. and Joseph J., both of Old Forge;
brother Edward, Old Forge; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and
nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Thomas P.
Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Vine Street, Old
Forge, with the Rev. Joseph M. Brozena officiating. Interment will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery, Old Forge. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
