Here are the former Nebraska high school stars on Division I basketball teams

Division I teams begin the season with 62 former Nebraska high school players.

There are 33 on men's teams, three fewer than last season, and 29 on women's teams, an increase of five.

Seven men transferred between D-I schools since last season, including four from Bellevue West. They are Chucky Hepburn, who went from Wisconsin to Louisville; Frankie Fidler, Omaha to Michigan State; William Kyle, South Dakota State to UCLA; and Josiah Dotzler, Creighton to Saint Louis.

The other three made their second transfers: Saint Thomas from Millard North, Northern Colorado to USC, John Tonjes from Omaha Central, Missouri to Wisconsin; and Donovan Williams from Lincoln North Star, Pacific to Western Michigan.

The six women's transfers were Jasmine McGinnis-Taylor from Omaha Westside, Illinois State to Eastern Kentucky; Lucy Ghaifan from Grand Island Central Catholic, from Omaha to Grand Canyon, Aanaya Harris from Omaha Burke, Xavier to North Carolina Charlotte, Ruthie Loomis-Goltl from Bridgeport, Colorado to South Dakota; Kaysia Woods from Lincoln High, Xavier to SMU; and Nyayongah Gony from Lincoln High, Mississippi State to UTSA (third school).
