Nekrogoblikon with Enterprise Earth, Dead Icarus, Viscerous, Iced Wrist, 6:30 p.m. Friday, Bourbon Theatre. Goblin metallists Nekrogoblikon roll into the Bourbon on Friday with a pair of new vocalists, who may or may not be wearing the goblin mask that's the signature of the long-running L.A. melodic metal outfit. Good luck finding a place to park.

Marc E. Bassy and Skizzy Mars Present: Folk Heroes North America 2024, 8 p.m. Saturday, Bourbon. Hitmaker Marc E. Bassy, whose work of late has blended pop with hip-hop, exploring themes of anxiety and confidence, has teamed up with rapper Skizzy Mars, who's known for his smooth beats and introspective themes on a joint, stage-sharing tour.

Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore with the Guilty Ones, 7 p.m. Sunday, Zoo Bar. Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore, along with Alvin's touring band the Guilty Ones, return to the Zoo on Sunday to showcase songs from their new album "TexiCali" at a show that's long been sold out.

The Un-Veiling: Black Veil Brides with The Tale Untold, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Bourbon Theatre. Hollywood rockers Black Veil Brides are delivering singular performances with "The Un-Veiling," which blends performances of some of the most beloved songs from the band's catalog along with stories about the making of the songs and albums and, after the show, an hourlong Q&A from the stage.

Shadow Work with Guava Tree, Turquoise, The Credentials, 9 p.m. Sunday, Duffy's Tavern. Denver psych-rockers Shadow Work return to Duffy's with Utah tourmates Guava Tree, who play groovy, jazz-inflected psych. They'll be joined by Lincoln alcohol-jazz trio Turquoise and alt-rockers The Credentials.

Davina and The Vagabonds, 6 p.m. Thursday, Zoo Bar. Davina Sowers and her band of merry men from Minneapolis are back at the Zoo Bar for an evening of their unique blend of blues, jazz, early rock soul and gospel delivered by trumpet and trombone, acoustic bass, and Sowers' piano and powerhouse vocals.
