High School Football Live: Scores, highlights from Week 9 action in NE Ohio

CLEVELAND, Ohio — It's Week 9. League championships will be on the line in the Greater Cleveland Conference and Cleveland West Conference on Friday night. So will playoff positioning with just two weeks left in the regular season.

Week 9's biggest games include Mentor (8-0), the No. 2-ranked team in the cleveland.com Top 25 , playing host to streaking No. 24 Strongsville (5-3) for a game that should decide the GCC. Meanwhile, Rocky River (7-1) heads to Buckeye (7-1) to decide the first CWC championship.
