Highland Park Night Market Saturday; Gingerbread House Contest Nov. 30 The borough of Highland Park will again hold their gingerbread house competition; enter by Nov. 30.HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — The borough of Highland Park will again hold their gingerbread house competition; enter by Nov. 30.
Gingerbread houses will be accepted on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 1 - 4 p.m. Bring your creation to the pavilion next to 212 Raritan Avenue.
Here are more rules on the gingerbread competition:
On Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1, Highland Park's Night Owl Markets will be in full swing, with crafts and gifts for sale, food for sale, Christmas trees for sale, the gingerbread house contest , live music, caroling and Santa on the fire truck on Saturday.
All held in the area of 212 Raritan Avenue:
Nov. 30, 4 - 8 p.m. Arts, crafts and artisan gift market. Including food, Christmas trees for sale, the gingerbread house contest and live music. Don't miss the downtown tree lighting starting at 6:30 p.m., with a special visit from Santa on the Highland Park fire truck.
Dec. 1, 1- 5 p.m. Arts, crafts, and artisan gift market. Including food, Christmas trees for sale and live music.
Highland Park's Night Owl Markets return November 16, 30 and December 1, 14, 21 and 22. Featuring local artists, artisans and crafters. They are currently seeking vendors, artists, artisans and food. Learn more here .
And Highland Park's downtown Menorah lighting will be December 26. "Join us December 26 at 4 p.m. for our downtown menorah lighting, with sufganiyot, dreidels, gelt and our giant menorah."
