Highlighting Hope: Casa De Amigos

MIDLAND, Texas(KIMD/KPEJ)-Casa De Amigos is a Midland non-profit organization that provides programs and resources to families to successfully.

"Education, social services, health and wellness and senior services so serve people throughout their lifespan to help them maintain independence or become self-sufficient whatever that looks like for them. Like English as a second language classes, we do GED classes. Truck driving is one of the most popular programs" said, Tony Eckert Executive Director of Casa De Amigos.

They offer medical services to adults with no insurance or under insured. Doctors are in partnership with Texas Tech and provide medical services to west Texans.

"If they need to see someone and they have no insurance and they are an adult. Then on Tuesday and Thursday evenings we have that clinic from four to eight and we see the first twenty people who show," said Eckert.
